Detroit Shanghai was incorporated in Shanghai Jiading. Shanghai Detroit is the sole wholly-owned subsidiary of American SPIRALOCK in China, and the only wholly-owned company in the world that produces SPIRALOCK products.
2002
October: Shanghai Detroit and Zhejiang Jinyilian won the bid for the fasteners of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway Construction Command of the Ministry of Railways, with a total amount of 26.22 million. December: DTFLock® locknuts were successfully applied to the Shanghai maglev track beam steel structure, solving the problem of loosening fasteners by German engineers.
2003
The Transportation Bureau of the Ministry of Railways and the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Railways jointly issued the "Notice on the Quality Inspection Results of the Use of DTFLock® Technology Lock Nuts" (Red Head Document of Yunji Line [2003] 453) Passed the ISO9001: 2000 quality system certification of Hong Kong Quality Assurance Bureau.
2006
Chester Technology Corporation of the United States wholly-owned acquisition of Shanghai Detroit.
2007
Shanghai Detroit was awarded as Shanghai High-tech Enterprise. June: Beijing Aerospace Standard Parts Inspection Center issued a "Preload Locked Threaded Nut Vibration Performance Test Report" after a one-year test on Shanghai Detroit's DTFLock® Locknut.
2008
Shanghai Detroit and Shanghai Tongji University jointly established the “Detroit-Tongji Fastener Application Technology Center”. December: Shanghai Detroit independently completes the DTFLock® Thread Enterprise Standard, which includes a complete system of metric and imperial systems for gauges, taps and female female threads. Shanghai Detroit International Sales Department was established.
2009
January: Shanghai Detroit signed a technical development contract with the National Standard Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and Zhejiang University of Technology to jointly develop a lateral vibration testing machine for fasteners. March: Passed the TS16949: 2002 quality system certification of the French International Inspection Agency. Shanghai Detec has successfully developed a large-scale precision thread-guided tapping machine. Precision tapping of nuts up to M48.
2013
September: Shanghai Industry and Commerce Bureau approved the formal change from "Shanghai Deite Precision Fastener Co., Ltd." to "Shanghai Deite Precision Fastener Co., Ltd.".
2014
February: Shanghai Detroit stock is listed for public transfer in the national stock transfer system. Stock abbreviation: Shanghai Detroit, stock code: 430646.
